I'm 2 weeks pp also and I'm wondering the same thing. I'm not bleeding anymore and I'm scared to try bc I hear everyone saying no bc infection. I mean we didn't have a vaginal birth so do we follow the same guidelines as women who do?

I was scared but we did it just a day before two weeks pp. I didn't want to stretch the incision or anything so to be safe I let him be on top! lol and it was pretty good

The risk of infection has nothing to do with having a vaginal birth or a c-section. In your uterus the placenta was attached. When it was removed ( it doesn't matter how) it left a large open and oozing wound. It is this spot that is where the danger of infection lies.

my doctor actually told me that since i didn't have a vaginal birth and no episiotomy that I could have sex as soon as i wasn't bleeding and wanted to. he also told me i could tell my husband we had to wait 6-8 weeks if i wanted. ;-) lol. But I am still bleeding... 4 weeks out... so i guess it doesn't matter for me! g/l

my dr said no intercourse or sex tampon anything like that the first two weeks.. I'm.4weeks 3days pp and still haven't had sex bc with my first c section i remember it hurting at 6 weeks pp....
