can someone give me a list of foods/snacks that u would recommend at a baby shower or what u had at ur baby shower? i know everyones gonna say cupcakes, but what else??? my shower is on nov 10 from 3-6pm with about 20 ppl going. im on a budget and just stressing that there will be more ppl than food. if i could cater, i would, but im not sure myself or my hostesses can afford it. plz help! let me know what u had at ur previous showers or what ur going to have. u can include desserts and drinks too. What are some meals you like to cook ahead of time for nights that you're short on time, or so you can have left overs for lunches later in the week?
I find curry reheats from frozen really well. I also make a lot of pasta dishes, the ones with creamy sauces usually need a dash of milk when you're reheating them, to bring them back to life. Risotto is another good one.

For dinner tonight I am trying a recipe for a faux pesto. It is a spinach pesto sauce that you can whip up in like ten minutes. I plan to serve it over gnocchi with salad, fresh cantaloupe, and garlic bread. Basically a vegetarian dinner! The pesto alone tasted pretty good, so I have high hopes. :)
