Hi
I don't have crohns or colitis but I I do have severe IBS. So I figured this was the best place to ask.
I have many flare ups with pain, bloating and diarrhea. My lo is 7 months old and crawling.
My question is when you're sick during the day( in the bathroom forever!!!) what do you do with your lo!? I've been sticking her in her crib and running to the bathroom, but I hear her cry the whole time and I feel awful. Afterwards, I'm weak and tired and in no mood for smiling a singing songs. Lol. I know there's not much I can do, but just wondering how you mommas feel about this? Any tips? Thanks.

Well this is my story this week.
Friday night my bby was fussy and didn't want to go to sleep, so around 2am saturday was still crying, went to sleep and woke up every 2 mins. I was thinking he was constipated Cux he was making moaning sounds, so we Took him to hospital he ended up having a 103 fever. Dr gave him Tylenol, and we got send home. saturday and Sunday he looked fine and he didn't have a fever. Monday morning he was making that same sound and I touch his head he was so hot, I checked his temp and it was 105. I immediately went to the hospital. They took his and nurses did test and everything came back negative so the dr tells me we gotta do a spinal tap. The dr tells me my bby has bacterial meningitis. It broke my heart and thinking what could happen after and if he wAs strong enough to fight this stupid disease. After 48 hours we know why he got this. I was positive for strep b when I was pregnant. And when I was in labor i was treated for it and plus I had c section. He was born healthy but now he has meningitis. His getting treated for it and his doing so well but now am scared what happen after this? I need help girls. What are his chances that it did any damages.

What is your best advice for me? I have had type 1 diabetes for 13 years. I am 9 weeks pregnant and I'm 23 years old. My OBGYN called me a few days ago. I had gotten some blood work done and my A1C is 8.4. What are the best foods to eat to help control blood sugars? Does insulin intake usually change when pregnant? I've been eating fruits, vegetables, yogurt, crackers and other foods. I also have celiac disease so I can't have any wheat. Advice would be greatly appreciated

I am 36 weeks & because of my crohn's being so bad, my baby boy isn't growing well. He is 2 weeks behind & his fluids are low. He has only gained 8 oz in 4 weeks & at this point he should have gained 1.5 lbs in that time. They are going to induce me on Monday because they feel he has a better chance on the outside. I am on a 24 hour IV delivering nutrients & calories to me, but it isn't enough. Please say a prayer for my boy. Thank you!

Any mommies out there have celiac disease? I was diagnosed about 5 years ago and I'm 9 weeks pregnant now. I don't really know what to expect during pregnancy and breast feeding.

I'm currently not taking anything for my crohns. I was on mercaptopurine but my OB took me off. I'm 22 weeks with twins and amazingly my crohns has been better then ever. I've heard sometimes after delivery it can come back full force. Anyone experience this? I'm hoping I don't have any problems!

Hello ladies.
I'm hoping to hear your opinions on the following matter:
I was pregnant (first time) and had to have a D&C at 10.5 weeks because baby had not grown and had no heartbeat. Whilst I was pregnant I was at my healthiest that I have ever been. I had the D&C exactly two weeks ago today.
I want to TTC again and I have been given the all clear by doctors. The problem now is I'm starting to have a flare up and I've been put in Asacal tablets. The doctor says it is safe to take whilst pregnant anyway.
I think I'm flaring up because of all the distress I went through knowing by baby died.
Have you ever had a relapse/flare up whilst pregnant or TTC?
What was the outcome?
Was your baby ok?
Did you get pregnant?
What are your experiences?
I look forward to hearing from you, thanks :)
