I don't know how to describe it but when I walk on my left leg I get a shooting pain in my butt cheek lower back area I'm 34 weeks and 4 days it hurts so bad and I don't know what to do any advice

I am currently 31 weeks and two days along. The past few days my stomach has become less hard and i havent felt baby move. He is normally pretty active and strong.
This is my first time being pregnant as a plus sized women. Is this normal?
Whrn i call the doctor about it he pushes it off and says im fine, i just cant feel him because im over weight. But that doesnt make sense to me as ive been feeling him this whole time.
