That doesn't sound right I had it with my DD 3.5 yrs ago n can't remember exactly but it's a naturally occurring hormone so shouldn't cause too many side effects. Ur dose might be too high I'd call ur dr straight away.

Hopefully that helps and as long as u keep ur sugar levels in the range u'll have no problem I had GD with my DD, now 3, n she was only 6.7lbs. GL

U might need to eat more often I eat practically every 2 hrs and I always eat some protein n carbs. I've learnt if my levels r a certain number or lower I need to eat right then otherwise my levels r higher after my next meal, really not sure why but it happens everytime.

Oh also read that having lots of dairy helps, since I started having more dairy my levels have been less wacky, pretty much all my snack have dairy now.

You should maybe see another Dr. cause you shouldn't be having that many problems. I don't think ur Dr. is very knowledgable about GD. You have 2 look out 4 you & ur child so go 2 a hospital or see another & try 2 get an appt w/ an endocrinologist ASAP. Good luck & I wish you & ur lil one the best.
