is it even possible to be 38+4 with twins? Im not having twins Im 35 weeks with my son but my friend claims she's pregnant with twins... and shed be 38+4.. is this possible... i think she's lying out her @$$ because she has no proof she's pregnant!!

her belly would be huge if she was expecting twins. There are some moms that carry that far, it depends on the situation.

that's the thing tho, i have a single baby and Im hugeeeeee compared to her.. she looks like her normal self..

Well you should find out in about 2 weeks. Doubtful they'll let her go over 40w with twins.

Also the hospital won't let her leave with 2 babies if she only gave birth to 1. Don't worry about it so much the truth will be out eventually. Just take care of yourself. :)

It's very possible and she would be huge if she is pregnant with twins and that far along.

yes its possible! we have a mom on here now Julieanderic who is 39+ with twins! agree with the other pp she would totally be huge if she was

Not true I'm a small person 4'11 115 lbs and with my first set I weighed 128 at delivery and looked like I was carrying to small for a singleton and am prg with twins again and am currently weighing 126 and look like I'm prg with one. Everyone I different and not all ladies get big

Yep. I'm 39wks, day 5 today, for real. For really real. Can barely walk. Mind you, I've only gained 38lbs but my stomach is massive. People kind of freak a little when they see me.
Ask her what kind of twins she has. They will only let you go this far if you have di/di twins, which is two sacs, two placentas. At least that's my understanding.

all i know is she's lied before about many pregnancies... she is one of the ones that fakes things alot for attention.. she hasn't any proof she's pregnant whatsoever no ultrasound no papers and she's never even gone to the Dr. she looks exactly and i mean exactly the same as she did before meaning she doesn't look pregnant at all... everyone.asks me if Im having twins because Im so big i gained 56lbs so far but i weighed 97 before i was pregnant but you can stand us side by side and i look huggeee compared to her! if she is pregno with twins i don't see how...

so ladies my friend would be 40 weeks 3 days and still NO twins!!!! seems fishy to me!

Not likely! Risk of still birth is drastic at this point. And she would be hige to say the least. If she "lost them" ahe would still appear pregnant for a while and have extremely streached skin for a few montha

Definitely a possibility. Just bc it's a higher risk for stillbirth after 38 wks, doesn't mean all doctors will deliver before 38. I know a LOT of twin mamas who went past 38wks. Even all the way to 40.

Can you SEE your friend? It's really unmistakable if your beyond 35ish wks with twins.

If your belly is bigger than hers, she may be lying. No way to deliver just one and keep the other in. Not possible.

yes I've seen her.. we have been friends since we were both 2... and like i said Im the one that looks pregnant she just look like she always has... she tries to avoid me when i see her in town and Im pretty positive i know why!!

Oh yeah, she's def not preg with twins....a multiple pregnancy is a big deal, it's very involved and she wouldn't look anything like herself (her belly).

to be honest Im the one that looks like Im having twins!! lol Im super huge no lie! i thank i just have a really big baby! but she scares me i done told my mom to make sure she don't come to the hospital when i have mine or even get around my son.. she would be the kind of person to steal a baby...

seems fake to me. I wouldn't believe her until I seen her outside of the hospital with 2 babies and I would still ask to see the birth certificates to make sure they are actually hers.

She apparently had them in a diff state and won't say what hospital she's at nor Will hey post pics or send pics they said they only want immediate family to see them and they do not want visitors.. how interesting and sketchy is that?!! lol and we been friends since we were 2 we both 21.. i was pretty much her only.friend she had and now Im just tired of her stupid.lying and trying to fake something that is only a fantasy to.her..

I personally really don't like all these comments about how if she is small she must be lying, I'm currently only measuring 33cm and I'm nearly 35 weeks and I'm definately having twins, my best friend and my cousin have been bigger than me throughout their pregnancies, there's been plenty women on here to that don't look full term with one let alone 2, her size cannot be used to decide if she's lying or not, the going past 40 weeks does sound iffy tho but why lie when it's obviously going to come out when she clearly won't have 2 babies x
